​I have honed my fiction and non-fiction storytelling skills through film production and screenwriting at New York University and the Iranian Young Cinema Society.

 

This creative education is complemented by research and legal knowledge gained through a diploma in journalism, and further supported by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Simon Fraser University. I am currently working towards an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

I am an alumna of the 2022 Canadian Film Centre (CFC) Writers' Lab, the 2023 Women in the Director's Chair, the 2023 Reelworld Series Lab, and the 2024 Whistler Screenwriters' Lab. I'm honored to have been named Best Fresh Voice at the 2023 Female Eye Film Festival.​ ​
